HAVE YOUR SAY – The quarterly meeting of the Carmarthenshire 50+ Steering Group was held recently, and in a totally new venue for us – ‘virtually’. The main conern was our Annual Event which should have been held like last year’s in the Botanical Gardens, where it proved to be amazingly popular. With things as they are at the moment due to Covid 19 it was reluctantly agered to postpone the event until next year. Please note the word ‘postponed’ not cancelled. We can not let such a popular day out discontinue. We are determined to make it a permanent feature of all your diaries. Watch this space for future developments.
This disappointment along with the suspension of our other projects such as ‘Walking Well’ and ‘Bytes and Bites’ means that we now have time on our hands to take a closer look at our aims and objectives. So who best to consult on the way forwards but yourselves. You are the ones best placed to tell us what you would like us to do. Have a think and let us know. We would be delighted if you could drop us a line with your suggestions, either on the 50+ Face Book Page, or by email, email@example.com. ... See MoreSee Less
