Digital Inclusion

There’s no doubt that people who are unable to get online miss many opportunities for social contact, access to ways of saving money on bills etc. Our recent digital survey highlighted areas that people wanted help with – particularly those people who have begun to engage with tech devices. As a result we set up a ‘digital hub’ at our Annual Event in September at the Botanic Gardens and were helped by Barclays Bank, Digital Communities Wales, Dyfed Powys Police and TSB. They covered a number of topics people wanted to engage with – staying safe online, recognising scams, help with health care, safe online banking, ancestry research. Here is a short video clip filmed on the day by TSB featuring some of the work that they and others helped with.
